How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Phew, starting a new job tomorrow. No night shifts, no weekends and no covid patients. 6 years as an ICU nurse was lovely but it's time to learn a new skill in anaesthetics.

The weight I feel lifting off my shoulders is immense. And hopefully not doing nights helps me feel healthier and more motivated.

Congrats! My cousin (also Lauren and an ICU nurse), became a nurse practitioner and got a job in family practice to normalize her life!

20 years of night shift! @MRSRN65, you are truly a saint! I can't wait to go to bed and wake up at a regular time. I wonder if it will be hard to adjust.

@kristen, with ICU experience I can walk into any job pretty easily, the clinical skills are similar in anaesthetics so it's just a new workflow to learn.
