How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m tired. Progress is slow...I’m talking I’ve lost 0.7 pounds in 2 weeks of diligent effort, not perfect, but diligent. Maintaining a positive mindset is a challenge. What helps you keep a positive mindset? I’ve had extra stress this week. Not ready for Monday which is not my usual on a Sunday night. I need some encouragement.

I am using the bets to work toward my overall goal which isn’t exactly defined by a number. I use these bets to stay on course and if I hit the 4% that is great but in the end I am just looking at making progress. I am already seeing changes in my body even though the scale isn’t moving as fast as I would like. Seeing those nsv is definitely keeping me motivated to continue tracking my food and working out.

I’ve found it useful to combine bets for that very reason. I do StepBet and RunBet with DietBet which makes me think about what I’m eating and burning extra fuel too. The results are easier to spot as is going off course. I find the 3 together creates a positive mental state. I’m getting close to my goal weight, so things are getting harder.
