How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Yesterday I did my workout and showered. Then my son woke up and said “can we run before school?” So we did. I love that exercising is helping me be more active with him. Yes yesterday my legs were shot (it had been leg day) but we went for a 5 minute run... just something to help him train for the mile in school

It's been 13 years since I was under 80 kg. This morning the scale showed 78.4 kg. What a feeling!! I'm starting learnining how to maintain now. The first challenge will be in two weeks at the celebration after my firstborn's baptism (mind, two days before weight-out!). Lord help me manage my time and food well. Have a good Sunday, everyone!

  • Happy New Life Anniversary to me! One year ago today, I began my weight loss journey by starting on Noom. In one year, I've lost 131 pounds, and 147 from my all time high weight! But it's not all about the numbers, and the NSV's have been adding up as rapidly as the weight has been dropping!

    It's a great day, so I'm going to celebrate by mowing a couple of yards and then spending the evening listening to some of the best music on the planet. Life is great, my friends!

  • It has been quiet in here. My update is this...I am doing a Zombies, Run! couch to 5k program (says the girl who was walking less than 1000 steps a day back in April). 😲 My latest workout attached, which was running for 23 mins and walking for 19. Also, I weighed in at my lowest ever weight this morning, 182 (below my total goal from this game, and down from my starting weight back in December of 231). I am making progress, just quiet, slow progress!!

Ok here is my final push - I’ve still got 1.9 pounds to go in these last 3 weeks. My weight loss has been steady but SLOW. So I’ve got to amp it up and push through to that finish line! I’m going to get some good long walks added in after my runs. And no special treats!

And here is me commenting on my own comment: I was just thinking about how much better I feel just doing regular daily activities than I did when we started 5 months ago - it is just easier to move! So this diet bet has already been worth the effort!

  • We've gotten quiet in's your final push going? My ride from yesterday, including my "goal" hill that not only did I not make, but I fell while trying! I'm fine...a bit sore but I'm pretending it was from the effort and not the fall!

  • As a teacher, it’s week 3 back to school for myself and my children. We had been remote the past year and a half. The exercise routine is getting more challenging but workout done today!! Dripping sweet to prove it. I just need to take it one day at a time!
