How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hello everyone! i'm excited to get started with you in our next game of 2021! I'm super proud of you all for being here and taking care of your health! If you don't know me my name is Lexi (fatgirlfedup) and I joined my first game in 2016 and lost 312lbs in two years while playing games! Now I host so that I can help you and continue on my own journey! A few tips that have helped me in my own experience to start off our game:
- Track what you're eating! I found that using myfitnesspal helped me to realize how many calories i shoud eat, my food intake, aswell as helped me learn to read my nutrition labels. Ultimately our nutrition is so important especially while trying to lose weight. Be sure to fuel yours with lots of vegetables, less sugar and carbs, and lean meats such as chicken, salmon, or lean beef. Take the foods you love and try to create healthy versions and foods that you can enjoy long term.
- Move! I know some of us are experiencing problems with the virus so do what you can! Go walking, dance in your living room, do squats, youtube videos, etc. Try to get in 30 minutes of activity where you can daily but be safe also!
- Drink your water! Water can help boost your metabolism, keep you full, and can benefit your journey in so many other ways aswell. I usually aim to drink atleast a gallon daily.
- Invite your friends, coworkers and family! We will have others joining us for 14 days after the start of the game and i'm giving away $100 to one random player after every 500! Also be sure to tag #fatgirlfedupsdietbet on social so we can cheer eachother on there too!
- Be sure to take all the progress pictures as you'll want them, promise! Plus we look forward to seeing your progress and sometimes the scale doesn't tell the full story!
- Any issues with weigh in or technical issues in our game please email support@dietbet.com and they can fix it for you quickly!

Hi everyone! I'm 34 year young mom of a sweet energetic boy of 2. I live in the Netherlands (sorry if my English may be incorrect sometimes). I started my weight loss journey in spring of 2017 and got rid of 20kg of body fat. Some came back during my pregnancy in 2018/2019, but I've got that gone too before the virus came down on the world. Sadly I miscarried in January, it broke my heart. Because of that I am more determined to get my body in the most healthy shape I can be. Not only to be able to carry a baby full term, but also for my wonderful precious boy I already have 💕💕💕

I had a plan to wake up at 430am and go to the gym before work. That didn't happen! So, I have my gym bag packed and ready to go after work!

Day 2! We made it!!! What are your goals today? Mine is to track everything I eat. Trying to make it a habit bc I know that works for me.

My remaining goal for the day is no binge snacking after work today, which has been a real struggle for me during the pandemic. I have heathy snacks ready and a plan to read or paint outside today to keep my mind in a happy place! Good luck tracking today! You've got this!

Does anyone else struggle with self-loathing? And not due to my size, though that’s enough. But because I have gone over my calorie goal by 1000 calories today. And I knew I was doing it before I ate it. I was hungry, and I told myself it was okay because I was hungry, and my hormones are playing with me, and I had a nice drop in weight this morning from yesterday. I know one day over doesn’t ruin the challenge, and that sometimes you do just need more. I suppose complicated thought patterns and habits are a big part of why I’m here.

And one more thing... don’t hate yourself over that. Today is a new day. When you learn to be ok with the days you over eat, it makes your journey that much easier!

Gurl I had high expectations for yesterday and I completely let myself down. I ate all day. Healthier choices but still more than I wanted. And I didn’t get a good workout in. My head hurt and I copped out. I’m mad at myself, but looking on here I see that I’m not alone. One day at a time and we just have to do a little better everyday.
