How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • It’s the FINAL WEEK of this DietBet! Can you believe it? How do you feel? How are you incorporating more homemade meals into your diet this week? Are you feeling motivated to continue? I want you to know that you don’t have to be motivated to change. Motivation isn’t reliable anyway. It doesn’t last. If you mustered up the strength to start improving your health by joining things like this DietBet challenge for encouragement and accountability, I promise you it takes time but it will slowly begin to turn into one of those habitual things. Eating healthy, moving more, & drinking more water will become something you don’t have to work so hard at anymore because it will become a part of your everyday lifestyle, & over time it requires less thought. Like taking a shower or brushing your teeth. So the question shouldn’t be, how do you stay motivated?, the question should be, how did I turn this into a habitual lifestyle? It requires vulnerability, admitting that you have a problem, that you’ve made poor choices that have gotten you to the spot you’re in, & reaching out to ask others for help with accountability. It requires doing what’s best even when no one is around to witness it. No matter if you are finishing this week reaching your DietBet goal or if you are still far from it you are WINNING!
You stuck to 28 days of making better choices, moving more, eating more veggies, & drinking more water. But most importantly you stuck to four weeks of focusing on your health and I urge you to not stop now! Finish strong! You’ve got this! We are all in this together!
If you’d like to keep your momentum going you can join us of our next challenge starting May 30th, simply head over to Dietbet.com/insta…

I am definitely struggling, have been hovering around my starting weight for a few weeks. However, I've been consistently exercising, just about every day (sometimes twice), and when compared to a couple months ago, that is a HUGE change. I'm also learning not to beat myself up over the less successful food days and make better choices. Either way, that makes it a win for me!

Initially lost 2.6 pounds and I've been maintaining the weight. I was hoping to be a little more motivated, but today is a new day. Can we weigh in on the 24th?

Update: Weighed myself this morning. I am now 93% there to reach my goal. I have just .4 ounces to lose. Almost there! Ok, when do we submit the official weigh in, the 23th or 24th? I started a few days later, so it would be great to be able to submit my official weigh in on the 24th.
