How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

    For those of you interested, I wanted to share a bit of myself on this #TransformationTuesday

    I have worked in fitness for 17 years. Personal trainer, group fitness instructor, health coach, wellness coordinator, etc... However, no one is perfect.  We all encounter struggles.  Many people in my position may want to act like they have it all figured out.  That would simply not be true.  Besides, knowing the right thing, and executing the right thing are two different things.  The key is to striving toward goals, and use failures to get better, not defeated.

    The beginning on 2021, I ballooned up to the highest weight I had ever seen.  As someone who fluctuates throughout the year, but always stays at a healthy weight, I was quite disgusted with myself.  This was not all about image, but the lack of care I had shown myself, and my overall feeling.

    I knew what I needed to do to get things back together.  It was a matter of setting outcome goals, and behavior goals.  By hitting my behavior goals, I knew the outcome goals would fall into place.  I will continue to set goals to continue improving.  Weight goals, performance goals, and lifestyle goals.  The progress photo you see was NOT achieved in 4 weeks.  I credit challenges like this for keeping me motivated throughout the journey.

    In anything in life, you can have comfort, or you can have growth.  I embrace periods of discomfort to achieve growth. I admire all of those who chase their goals, so kudos to all of you!
