    Here’s is a Foodie Friday Tip!

    I am so proud of all of you! Lots of you are tracking and doing a great job so far!

    I know the weekends can be hard from some of us. It doesn’t have to be! While gathering with friend and family can have it’s eating challenges I recommend two things- to reiterate one of them from Wednesdays post.

    FIRST: lean into DINTEO! It’s stands for “do I need this eating opportunity?” Just because it’s there, doesn’t mean you need to have it.

    SECOND: It’s okay to have a drink- I know from time to time, and when that is the case You should give my Fruity Spritzer a shot to get you through the weekend festivities in a slightly smarter way:

    3 oz. raspberry lime sparkling water.
    1-2 oz. pear of fruity flavored KAMBUCHA!= delicious 25 cal mocktail

    Optional: add 2 oz white wine, vodka or tequila.

  • Spritzers and mocktails are the way to go! They are truly the secret to my 35 pound weight loss in the past year. This weekend, I pureed some watermelon in my blender. I then added some lime juice & stevia to it, which made it a nice stand-alone punch.

    From there, I can opt to mix it with whatever I'm in the mood for. I added some of Christie Brinkley's beautiful Zero-Sugar Bellissima Prosecco to enjoy with the brunch I made for the family. (I made some "Everything Cloud Bread Rolls" for myself in advance, and put scrambled eggs inside of that -- so meta!! Lol! Eggs inside of eggs!)

    I discovered that adding fun-flavored Polar seltzers to the watermelon punch was almost just as fun as adding the Prosecco, so, after brunch, I enjoyed a mocktail or two, while I vacuumed for 2 hours. It really is great to have some fun, but not completely wreck the diet efforts!
