  • 🌟 A non scale victory, last night my husband received a notice of a job offer and he wanted to reward himself with 🎂
    Usually, we would get a whole cake, that we eat for days and I asked for a compromise that we could have “real” cake if we just order a slice a piece. He agreed and we got cheesecake each from the Cheesecake Factory. I would normally eat a whole slice, shoving down the last few bites, uncomfortably. This time, I ate each bite with intention taking long pauses in between and really checking in on how much I was enjoying it. When I felt like the taste wasn’t as enjoying, I closed the lid and put it in the fridge. I may just split the other half with my husband so I don’t eat the whole thing!
