How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

First, I want to remind everyone who comments on a Challenge Check In post. If you comment on any Check In post, please be sure to check your email to see if you're the lucky winner. For Thursday's challenge, I drew two names. And neither player replied. When that happens, I draw another name from the list of players who comment.

Also, remember, there is another step challenge today. The target for today is to log a minimum of 9,000 steps. If you do that, remember to come back tomorrow and comment on the Check In post.

I challenge you (no prize - your reward is extra trips to the bathroom) to drink your water today! How much should you drink? An equation I see often is to drink half your body weight in ounces. So, if you weigh 150 pounds, your target should be 75 ounces of water. That's just a guideline though. If you're exerting yourself in the heat, you likely need much more than that to replenish the fluids you are losing from sweating. I don't have a set target for you. This mini challenge is really just to be more cognizant of how much water you're drinking.

I'd love to see the view you have while you're getting your steps in. Snap a photo while you're out and about and share in the comments. Bonus points if your step scene includes your water bottle!

I usually walk at night after the kids are in bed. No great picture, but it's fun to see how the moon changes and see the sky full of stars on clear nights.
