I ask myself this a lot. The reason WHY I want to lose weight and be healthy is to enjoy life more, including having energy to do fun things with my kids & explore the world with my husband. But also for my own mental & physical health. When I’m overweight & making unhealthy choices, I’m more depressed and dislike who I am and the life I’m creating for my family & for me. I also want my kids to see me making healthy choices & choose healthy for themselves as they grow up!
