How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Has anyone weighed themselves on different scales and gotten different weights? I used a scale at a friends house and it said about 3 pounds less than at home.

Oh my goodness! Yes! I just went to the doc this morning and was so bummed by the weigh in. I actually took my sweater off bc I was so surprised by the difference. I seriously have to add 3-4 lbs on my personal scale to match the one at the doc office. It’s good to know and plan around it.

Sunny, my doctor's office weighs me about five pounds more than than at home too! I've worked that into my end goal, since I assume theirs is more accurate.

And yes, Rachel, that's why they say to use the same scale the whole time! So you have a consistent idea
