  • Hi everyone! I’m Jenny, and I have done diet bets before. Three and a half years ago before I found out I was pregnant with my son, I had done back-to-back diet bets and lost almost 80 pounds. I had started from 219! Well… After having him, and then having my daughter two years later, I packed back on 59 pounds! (whoops) I tried after my daughter was born to do a diet but, but that was definitely too soon postpartum! I was not in the right frame of mind and didn’t have enough sleep LOL. Now I’m back to lose at least 50 of those 59 pounds again?! Here is a before, an after, and then an after-after photo. Also, does anyone know any good dinner recipes for people trying to lose weight, yet have two kids and a husband who love carbs?!?

Love this!! I make a full meal that doesn't need processed carbs and then add the carbs for them. For example I'm making zucchini boats tonight and will add spaghetti for my kids and hubs. Or I'll have spiralized zucchini or butternut squash while they have regular pasta. Cauli rice instead of regular rice.

And also I remind myself it's balance. If we're having pizza, I'll have a slice and a salad. Or really focus on veggies at other meals so I can enjoy my pizza.
