How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I am taking a week long trip in October (the 2nd week) and my DietBet goal weight by that time is at least 281. I am hoping to be even further along at that point as I am going to be going to 4 separate theme parks and my plus-size crew knows that not all rides are super accommodating! At my current weight I fit in *most* things but not comfortably. I'm hoping by that point to be at least 30 pounds down to help with comfortability!

I feel you. I am hoping to hit an amusement park in October as well and even though I’m pretty sure I’ll be fine, I still have some anxiety after my last trip when I very nearly got kicked off 3 of the rides when the safety bars wouldn’t click closed.

Amusement park rides are definitely something on my bucket list for when I lose more inches! I want to be able to fit on rides with my daughter and not be the one sidelined holding all the stuff while my husband has all the fun.

You can do it!!!!!
