How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I haven’t been doing all I need to do, and I know that. I get so frustrated as my scale fluctuates so much even in the morning. I bought another scale and it’s the same weight. How can I honestly track so I can start to benefit from dietbet-I’m paying monthly for something that I can’t seem to get into because of the scale. I plan to start my nutrition tomorrow but this seems to be my biggest obstacle.

So i struggled with this so much before this game. Ive lost a diet bet before. I was so angry with what I'd see on a scale one day and the next... i didnt know my body and subconsciously didnt want to accept that i got to where i was because i let it. I covered all my basis... calorie counted... tried fasting... didnt workout, excercise is very difficult for me to be consistent at. I ate well (healthy food) but wasnt seeing the weight come off... i would cheat with one cheat meal or cheat day here and there or take into account the amount of healthy food im eating... but i finally lost it gaining 16lbs in a month. I went to get my hormones checked, get cortisol levels checked... wanted to rule out anything medical thats out of my knowledge and control, but i was looking for something to blame... relief that it wasnt me... not wanting to face that i did binge on cheat days and meals... i wasnt exercising and was realistically not in a weekly caloric deficit. Not saying you're me, but i encourage everyone who is seeing this on their scale to check it all out, get tested, look at yourself, face yourself. I didnt realize i was sabotaging and self harming myself till i reached my all time max of 230lb maybe more since i avoided the scale for a good while. Now im at 190lbs You can turn it around and win a few rounds before it ends. Fight for yourself you're the only one who can and you're worth it! Be healthy for you, you deserve good health. Hope this helped my intent is with care and respect. Hope i didn't cross a line

I don't deal well with daily weigh ins. So I stopped doing it. I weigh in weekly now, and more only if the weigh in day is not Monday. For me, it is much easier. Nutrition is my biggest win. I do calorie counting, which has resulted in less calorie beverages, smaller portions, and MORE veggies. You can do it! Small changes, one at a time.
