How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I am struggling with motivation. 😟 I know I should be happy that I'm still hitting my dietbet goal but I've definitely landed in a slump over the past few weeks and having such a hard time pushing through it and striving for more. 😪 What have been your biggest motivators and/or what works to keep you motivated when you start to hit that burn out stage?

I’m there with you, feeling unmotivated. I’m still a few pounds from my goal and we’re going to NYC for thanksgiving - a place I have never been and where I’m sure I will want to eat all the food. :joy: I’m trying to stay motivated for that so I can eat without losing all my progress!

I try to remember my big goal(s) or sign up for another bet! Or I ordered a size smaller jeans so I'm like shoot guess I shouldn't binge on brownies if I want to fit in those soon :joy: otherwise I may take a couple days off or stop doing 1 thing for a few days to give myself a break. Hang in there! Some days its not so much motivation it's more the discipline to do it even though you don't want to. At least that's what I have found on my journey in the last 18 months.
