  • Bought the pretty Gorjana gold link Fitbit! It's making such a difference. Tracks calories in, calories out! Aiming for 10k steps a day and a -750 calorie deficit daily! We got this!!! Also, how cute is my hypewoman?

That's a pretty big deficit, I want to point out it's the consensus that women should not eat below 1200 calories a day. If your body thinks you are starving it will do a couple of things to protect you. 1) It will drop your resting BMR to cancel out your deficit. 2) it will hang on to your fat and use muscle as fuel (further dropping your BMR and making it harder to lose weight in the future). Well that's what happened to me anyway.

@Vegan Dad nowhere did she she was only limiting herself to 1200 calories. Average woman eats about 2000-2500 maybe even more these days. But let's say her normal eating was 2500 a day and cutting her food to 2000 and then adding a 500 calorie hour workout boom she's already at 1000 deficit!! So let's say her normal eating habit pre dietbet was 2000 cal a day and she's dropping to 1750 cal a day and working out 500 cal a day there's her 750! Or switcheroo and say she's dropping her food cal from normal 2000 to 1500 and working in 250 cal workout she's still in deficit of 750! She said she's looking for a 750 calorie deficit which is a super awesome and very doable longterm successful diet plan. Which leaves her room for a 1000 calorie deficit phase when she hits a rough plateau! :muscle::grin:
1500 cal diet is very safe and efficient and effective, so is a 1750 plan. Even a 2000 plan if ur normal was 3000 a day. And even a 1200 cal food phase is awesome for breaking a pesky tough plateau. U can gradually increase ur calories again slowly once u moved past that plateau and increase the workout.
