How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Well, I blew right past my round 1 goal, which is great. The hard part starts now for me. It always seems like I lost the first few points easily and then it's extremely difficult. This is also going to be hard for me because it's purely about dieting. I used to be a marathoner, but a knee surgery earlier this year ended that and I'm still doing rehab on it. For all my life I've been more or less able to outrun my awful diet, and for the first time my weight loss comes down to good eating habits. So I started by incorporating intermittent fasting and eliminating candy (my biggest weakness!). This round I've eliminated all non-fruit/veggie carbohydrates. I will add whole grains back in moderation in a couple weeks. I'm really enjoying this though. I no longer have an excuse to not considering what I'm putting in my mouth by saying "I'm fueling for a race!!!!" :) You all are doing great, keep it up!
