  • It seems like since we were young it's been ingrained into us that food is a reward. "If you eat your vegetables you can have dessert." "If we fill the jar full of marbles we get a pizza party." "If you sit quietly you'll get a lollipop." I have totally used treat bribery tactics with my kids. I want to encourage you to try to think of things that you can reward yourself for a job well done, other than treats.

    Like:
    Give yourself permission to take a nap
    Treat yourself to a massage
    Get fitted for workout shoes at a running store
    Plan a weekend getaway with your significant other.....

    What have you done to treat yourself for accomplishing your health and fitness goals?
