For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • Second to mindset, I think what we eat is the part of our weight loss plan that makes the biggest difference. There are a lot of popular food plans out there, and a lot of eating strategies.

    What works for you? What has come the closest to being your favorite eating strategy for weight loss? For me, my greatest success has come from tracking my calories and upping my intake of fruit and vegetables. So what is your current food plan?

Nothing wrong w/ counting calories...just it didn't work for me. I use to do that for years with MyFitnessPal, but I felt controlled ... constantly thinking abt food and how its caloric equivalent. When going out to eat, trying to pre-input food on MFP to make sure I didn't go over was a lot of work and sometimes depressing since I was still hungry w/ no cals left to spare. It did make me workout more though...so I could eat more! :joy:

  • Fitness Tip: Add variety to your workout routine!

    Your mind needs variety in movement to prevent boredom. Boredom leads to loss of interest. Keep changing your workouts to keep challenging your brain.

    Variety is also wonderful for your bodies health. By constantly challenging the body and placing emphasis on exercises that stimulate new muscle groups and movements, the body continuously changes and does not simply adapt to the same old routine. Rotating workouts can also help prevent injury from over training.

I am the worst at varying my workouts. I am so predictable. I need to get better at this for sure!

Rotating workouts is very important. Some days I focus on cardio (varying time lengths), others on abs, arms or glutes, sometimes both! Mixing up cardio helps too! Ex: walking, running, cycling, kickboxing, tennis, dance or HIIT. We're almost there everyone! Keep at it!
