How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

It's coming. It happens every year and how you handle it may set up how you handle the holidays. Yep, the time of year where some people justify added weight gain. HALLOWEEN. You buy bags of candy to pass out to kids, but somehow a lot of it is eaten by you.
So what's your strategy to NOT CAVE IN?
For me, I usually get candy that's not a lot of calories per piece of candy. And that it's usually hard candy since candy that I can chew easy is much easier to consume in larger amounts. My candy of choice is Jolly Ranchers.
I DON'T buy chocolate or small packs of candy. Too easy for me to finish off one at a time.
And as I mentioned, Halloween is a day that starts the CONSTANT eating for many of the population till New Year's Day. It's how that extra 5lbs-7lbs a year on average gets put on by the average adult.
So start planning NOW so that you have an action plan to stay on target for this game.

This is so true! Halloween always starts the day that I begin eating like crap for 2 months!
It’s hard for me to avoid being around treats since we have kids and will be at a gathering with others. I’m making chili and having a veggie tray so I won’t be too hungry. I’m thinking of maybe making a healthy dessert since I know I’ll want something sweet…because you are right about the chocolate…it’s too easy to eat more than one!

I had about 600 calories in candy over 2 days. Tootsie rolls and Jolly Ranchers. Good thing it's almost all gone.
