How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Y’all— how do you stay motivated to exercise when you are EXHAUSTED after a day of work?

I’m a teacher and I am absolutely incapable of waking up early enough to get in a workout before school starts. And after the school day is over, I’m completely spent (introvert teaching problems.) I find that I can sometimes come home and immediately jump into a work out (as long as I don’t sit down at all when I come home, just drop stuff, change, and get on elliptical,) but 9 times out of 10, I can’t swing that. Once I come home, I lose all motivation to do anything that isn’t snacking, napping, or staring at the ceiling

. Anyone have any advice for this tired teacher? How do you afternoon, after work, evening excercisers find the motivation to move?

I'm also a teacher! I bring a change of shoes/clothes to school and go for a walk around the building or outside with a teacher friend. We've been "walking buddies" for a couple years and it's a great way to get some exercise without it feeling like exercise. Good luck!

I find it best to find something you absolutely LOVE to do not just something you think you SHOULD be doing. The more you love it, the less likely you'll want to skip it and the more likely you'll keep it up even after you've reached your goals. Also the above advices on bringing a change of clothes or shoes to work are great, the more you lower the bar to entry the easier it is to keep consistent as well.
