How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Sorry about the error on yesterday's Check In post. The challenge was 500 extra steps over your normal daily step goal, or past seven day average. I mistakenly had 750. I just randomly selected a winner so if you commented on the post, please be sure to check your email!

As we head into another weekend, remember this quick tips to stay on track.

- Drink your water!

- Treat the weekend like any other day. Track your food. And plan ahead for your meals, if possible. Travel with snacks if you're going to be out and about.

- If you're dining out, try to check out the menu beforehand. Go ahead and log/track that meal then plan your day around it. Look for lean proteins (chicken without skin, for example), steamed vs creamed, baked vs fried, etc.

And remember - it's what we do MOST of the time that matters most. If you eat something out of the ordinary, I promise you it's not the end of the world. For it's what we do most of the time versus some of the time that makes the biggest difference.

There is another step challenge this weekend. The target is 17,500 steps (combined). Commit and comment on this post if you plan on giving it your all to finish the challenge!
