How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • We're getting close to the end of this challenge. You guys have been accomplishing so many amazing things. Push hard to the end; you've got this team! :)
So I was wondering, how often do you like to weigh yourself when you're actively trying to lose weight or even maintain? For me, I like to weigh-in every day, it helps me tweak what I need to along the way and helps keep me focused. But for other people that doesn't work as well.
What helps you stay on course the best?

If I weigh myself daily, the numbers on the scale set my mood for the day, that’s why I’d prefer weekly.

I weigh in every day when I’m focused. I also don’t get ruffled about normal fluctuations - one of the reasons some suggest weighing only once per week. Use your average weight for the week and compare week to week or use your weekly weigh in on a certain day to see progress more clearly.
