How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Has anyone here read Atomic Habits by James Clear? My favorite quote from the book is “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”

Two people can have the same goal, but the person with the system to get there is much more likely to at least move toward the goal. The goal for elite athletes is to win the tournament or the game or the gold medal, but the one who will is usually the one with consistant effort in a strong system.

Thanks so much for sharing this! I’ve been skating along with choir and with learning Dutch only to realize this past week that if I really want to progress and enjoy I need a system and to put in the work everyday, like I do with walking and my health spreadsheet.

Right? We're taught how important goal setting is, but, even though it's logical if you think about it, we aren't taught that putting in systems and habits is the most important part.
