Last round did not go well...so this round I decided to go on a 10 day sugar detox. These kinds of plans always help me lose weight because I usually have zero impulse control when it comes to carbs.

One thing that helps me is intermittent fasting - having an 8 hour eating window. For some reason, it really dials down the cravings for me.

JimmieD - a group of nurses assessed glycemic load and glycemic index for about 1,000 foods. The study was based in Australia so many of the foods were produced there or in the UK. However there were a few items that were purportedly the same, but manufactured in different countries and it showed that US manufacturers (same brand, same food) created a product 33% higher in glycemic index for the US market than in the UK!
