I’m 55. Diagnosed with Graves’ disease and hypothyroid in my early 30’s. Ever since weight loss has been very difficult. I managed to lose 18 lbs last year. Some of them at the beginning g of this diet bet. But now I’ve been stuck. Lost the last two weigh in’s. And I don’t think there is any way I’ll reach the next goal. Anyone have any tips? I do low carb/keto mainly. I’m not sure leaving the challenge is the answer. Because at least I’ve maintained and at least stayed within 2 pounds. Feeling a little discouraged. But I know I do have age and thyroid against me. 😞

Trying to maintain over the holidays and catch up after the holidays is a challenge! However, I think even if we didn't make the February 1st weigh-in, we put in a lot of great habits to catch up after the holidays and we can totally build on this to gain momentum this month. The things that works for me are drinking more water for more weight-loss and having good portions of veggies with every lunch and dinner. I also try not to snack between meals or after dinner anymore and I have healthy and nutritious foods at meals that keep me fuller than empty fast food meals would.
