I previously lost 50 lbs on Keto in a year and then got tired of it, got frustrated and gained it all back in a year. I need to try again but my discipline is crap cause I really don’t want to do Keto. But I feel like it is the only thing that works for me. I am wheat intolerant so if I eat wheat I am congested and gassy. Congested and runny nose, so is it the wheat or is it COVID or is or the wheat??? I always tested negative but it’s stressful to deal with these symptoms all the time. So I really need to kick the wheat…

Any suggestions on another eating plan I could follow that won’t make me want to snack and I can easily avoid wheat?

Melissa Will Do This

You lost weight on keto because you were in a calorie deficit. If you can burn more calories than you eat while enjoying some carbs you may find it more sustainable.

For 15 years I was sure that the only way my body would lose weight was by reducing carbs. I had great successes, I lost over a hundred pounds, and I gained it back, lost it again, vicious cycle. It’s exceptionally unsustainable and amplifies many unhealthy relationships with food. I read a book called renaissance diet 2.0, which is basically the science of macros and calories in calories out. Eye opening. Lost that 100 pounds again this time it’s staying lost.
