How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

So I’m kinda mad at myself and trying to figure out why I’m like this….I have planned for a treat today, I went to this cookie place that does the fancy cookies. On my way home I was eating it, and I literally said to myself this doesn’t taste like I remember, yet I continued to eat it!! Once I finished it, I realized I didn’t enjoy it, so why did I keep eating it?! And then it hit me my smell/taste hasn’t returned yet, (Covid) so that’s why I couldn’t taste it. Again why didn’t I drop it? It was not worth it nor was it satisfying. I’m so mad I “wasted” my treat and I think I’m more mad at myself that I didn’t recognize it sooner after the 1st bite or two. How do I change my mindset? Why didn’t I remember all the isms “better in the waste than on the waist” “drop the fork”?!?! I’m going to track it and move on, but it’s a hole in my mindset and I don’t know how to correct. Any advice/tips?

Noom has really helped me with that. It’s been a great program for me. I have been there so many times! Eat something for a treat then beat myself up afterwards cuz it wasn’t worth it. I get it and it’s so frustrating! At least you realized it! Next time will go differently I bet.

I'm totally the same way. Maybe next time you're having a planned treat (which I 1000% recommended doing), if you find you aren't enjoying it you can give yourself permission to throw it away and go get something else that you would enjoy instead.
