How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Here is an easy-to-implement tip for you: Chew Slower.

Making a conscious effort to chew slower is thought to help in a few ways...

    1. Your brain takes a while to register when you are full. Chewing more slowly will help give your brain enough time to signal when you’ve had enough to eat before you have overeaten.

    2. Chewing your food more thoroughly may, therefore, reduce calories during your meal.

    3. Studies have found chewing more slowly to increase the production of hormones linked to weight loss.

    4. Slower chewing is a component of mindful eating, which is aimed to help you slow down, pay attention to each bite, and listen the signals from your body.

This is a pretty easy tip to implement when we pay attention. Do you currently take the time to slowly focus on chewing your food? Are you going to give it a try?

I've started doing this and it has helped. I've also started taking smaller pieces of food.

Depends on the day for me. If I’m home yes I eat slower, if I’m at work it depends how busy we are.
