How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • This is something we haven't focused on a lot during this game, but you've earned it! Just as important as activity and nutrition is mindfulness.

Do you incorporate mindfulness or meditation into your daily life?

Your mini-challenge this weekend is to add a bit of mindfulness to your day - maybe even more than once!

You can incorporate little moments of mindfulness into your daily life in a variety of ways:

+ As you start your work day (open your computer, get in the car, enter the building, etc.) close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.
+ When you take a bite of food, take a moment to notice the flavors, textures, tastes, and smell.
+ As you get into bed at night, scan your body from top to bottom in your mind to start to relax.
+ Create any small rules to create patterns that work for you - ie. "if phone dings, then take a deep breath before checking."

Give this post a like if it got you thinking, and share with us if you do something like this or any ideas you have for incorporating mindfulness into your day!

I’m going to go out on a limb here and disagree. Nutrition is more important than mindfulness.

Both are important, but lack of one will get you killed. Lack of the other will leave you with a frenzied mind.

Of course both are good, and I support everyone getting both. Good luck y’all!

Mary K, sounds like I need to WAIT as well. I talk too much sometimes.
