  • Here's my first pic ever for DietBet versus my pic this morning.

    I was at 249.5lbs in the pic to the left. This was Oct 2020 when I had really done a ton of damage to my body during Covid. Too many margs, beers, chips with guac or queso daily. While delicious, I was so unhappy, unhealthy and on a very bad path.

    On the right, taken this morning, I am 47.2 lbs lighter! I haven't been under the 200 lbs mark in FOREVER. It's my goal to see if I can get there in time for the final weigh in tomorrow or the next day! I've got a 5k run planned tomorrow.

    I don't share this to brag. I do share it to celebrate. I also share it because seeing other's victories encouraged me to push through and make it happen. You CAN make it happen! I've won plenty of DietBets but have also lost some. Over the past 1.5 years I have taken some breaks, gained a bit back but lost it again.

    Overall, I've kept it off.

    The key is to be consistent. The key is to keep showing up. Keep pushing and chasing towards your goals.
