Looking back over this past year with diet bet gives me some great memories.
BMI > 30
Getting over sleep apnea
Old clothes fitting again
Doing some yoga arm balances
Coming off my blood pressure medication
Belt is 4 holes tighter
had to resize my ring
BMI > 25
Fitting into a pair of shorts I got 12 years ago on clearance that didn't even fit then!
Yeah it has been an amazing year. It's a shame because after all that I got tired and I started to rest on my laurels. I got a wake up call when I realized I might not win this bet, but the real wake-up call came from my doctor. Being at a healthy weight isn't enough, we need to take everything we learned and apply it every day because it's not the weight that is unhealthy its the lifestyle that got us there. I am going to finish this challenge strong! I'm going to carry these lessons with me after this is over, and I'm going to live my life strong!
