How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

When i started this i talked to my husband and told him how much i just want to buckle down and lose the 20Lbs ive gained over the past 10 years. Considering thats an average of 2lbs a year i really dont fault myself much. Ive had immense change and have slowly been moving toward a healthier lifestyle. I am currently vegan and B2 structure is pushing me even further toward the plant based lifestyle. Its truly a perfect match for me and my family.
My husband has been so supportive the past two weeks, ive been open and sharing my disappointment as i dial in my nutrition harder and harder every day and still (slowly) gain weight for the past 5 days in a row. He just keeps encouraging me to keep at it and the change will come. He’s right but i have never in my life been a “dieter” i have always just refused to engage BUT i WANT to eat more veggies at every meal and build discipline and healthy habits and tastebuds.
So off i go tonight in hopes that tomorrow is day 1 of melting mode (or rather that today was). I ate over 20 different plants and carefully tracked my accessories, i drank WELL Over a gallon if water and worked out. It was a great day.
Non-scale victory of the week is this: deapite gaining and feeling discouraged…im NOT craving junk, like at all.

You’re doing awesome. Consistency is the key. ( psst…I wish I weren’t craving junk. Albeit keto versions but still.) keep up the good work.

I feel this so deeply!! I have been transitioning to be predominantly plant based and in a similar struggle where even though my nutrition is on point, the scale seems to be going in the wrong direction. (Today is the first day since the diet bet began that I’m finally a pound below my weigh in weight). It can be mentally exhausting.
But my bf said the same thing, “just keep at it and don’t give up.” I think focusing on the non-scale victories is our biggest win right now! I agree completely, eating this way has greatly reduced the desire for treats and has me craving to stay plant based. We’re taking care of our bodies and feeding them well, hopefully the rest/weight loss follows in time. Keep up the good work!! And thanks for sharing. Nice to know I’m not alone!
