How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Quick question for the group: what advice do you have when your spouse doesn't exercise and says she doesn't like exercise? I tried to get her to join me with this dietbet but sure didn't want to

This community seems helpful and I wanted to ask before the dietbet ends.

Thanks.

The main exercise I get is daily lunchtime walks with my family. I don’t do it to lose weight. The food I eat is really what matters for weight loss. Regardless, I would recommend seeing what you can do to help her in general. Suggest meal planning together. Offer to cook meals (if you don’t already).

Thank you to all who responded. I knew I'd get some good feedback.
