Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Hey guys,

Since we are in this together for six month, I thought it might be fun to share some fun info about ourself’s.

Maybe where you’re from? I’ve seen someone from Italy and another from Germany. Personally, I’m from California, USA so was impressed by the global representation!

Or maybe why are you on your weight loss journey? For me, I got fit two plus years ago but then let it slide with COVID and let it spiral when my parents got sick. I’m ready to get back to fit! Like my macros coach says: “FIT is hard! FAT is hard! Choose your hard!”

Lastly, what’s your weight loss strategy? Mine is counting macros and weight lifting with some cardio sprinkled in.

Good morning! I’m from Columbus Ohio. Go Bucks!
I discovered I was a type two diabetic in October of last year. I have been on a fitness journey since then.
I had gained 40 pounds since losing my mother several years ago. Yes, I eat my feelings. :disappointed:
I found that diet bet keeps me accountable. My concern is Maintaining now that I am almost at my goal weight.
Since I am a diabetic I do almost no carbs or sugar. Proteins vegetables and fruit consist of most my diet.

Hi. I'm from Colorado. I've literally lost and gained hundreds of pounds over the years. I've never mastered keeping it off. I retire to Alaska in two years and become a Grandma for the first time in four months. I want to be able to truly enjoy all the kayaking, hiking, fishing, and playing with grandkids that I have planned for my next twenty five years.

It's about health and longevity. I'm hoping this is the motivation that sticks!

I'm tracking calories in Fitness Pal and weighing in daily. These two things have always helped me succeed. Daily accountability. When those slip, so do I.

Not doing much exercise right now while I rest my Achilles, but my weight loss has always been tied to the table, not exercise.

But I am looking forward to getting back at the daily walks and some weights.
