I’ve been sitting at about 2lb away from my goal for weeks, and it’s not fun to see that this is me not putting in the work or discipline. I’m having an introspective moment, and thinking about how much I value myself and my health, and what my goals are for that. I know I’m eating a lot more junk lately than I have the past 2 years on average, and I’m giving all that some thought.

Something Ilana said (from 2B Mindset) recently, she’s always talking about 2lbs at a time (as in focus on losing 2 at time not 10, because that’s more daunting) anyway…she said focus on 2 ounces at a time…and while that’s very slow going, it’s definitely helped me…every time I’m down 2oz I mentally celebrate as tho its 2lbs and the scale has been moving more steadily since adapting this mindset
