How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • I literally stood on the scale today and said “wow!” I finally hit the 150s!! I have been battling the last 2 lbs for a couple of weeks, fluctuating up and down and today (surprisingly) I came down from 161.4 to 159.8!! Consistency is the KEY. Let me tell you that just 3 days ago I was on the 3rd day of the scale going up and I was so discouraged. They “should have been” weight loss days according to my diet. Well my body finally caught up and I’ve lost over 3 lbs the last 2 days! My mindset - weight loss is a treat! I’m determined not to self sabotage this new progress.

Also, I love how you said “weight loss is a treat.” That’s such a good mindset! I always try to keep in mind that I can eat whatever I’m craving and have that immediate satisfaction, OR I can stick to my goals and have long-lasting, true satisfaction. I can’t have both! So I love seeing the weight loss as the treat.

Yes! Like I can have this treat but what do I want more?! And maintenance mode will come - weight loss is not forever!
