Im 43 and taking birth control to regulate my cycle. How does birth control affect weight loss. The dr wants me to be 9 weeks on and 1 week off. So I’m only having a “period” once every 2.5 months and it’s not a real period. Im sure these hormones are affecting my progress somehow, but it’s not cycling often enough for me to see the pattern. I’ve been struggling with slow weight gain since I started taking the BC. This month I’ve seen some progress, but it feels like I have to be 99% focused or I gain.
