  • I didn’t work out yesterday. Instead, I walked around Boston for HOURS with a coworker who I adore. We had a wonderful time and walked almost 14 miles. It was a lovely way to end an exhausting (but inspiring) week of learning to be a different kind of math teacher.

    Today, I have a day in Boston to myself before my husband arrives tomorrow so we can go visit some friends. Honestly, there’s a fair chance I will just chill in the hotel room most of the day. What I think I need the most right now is time to myself to reset. I’m emotionally shot and “peopled out”. I might walk 15 minutes down to the beach area and I might not. I’ll definitely make time to workout. But for the first time in a full week, my time is my own (and I have a decent bed and private bathroom!).
