How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Out of curiosity, does anyone else not weigh themselves frequently? I used to do it obsessively, but this time I’m trying to push myself to not weigh in until the two week mark. I don’t want to obsess over my weight the rest of my life, I want to focus on how I feel. And I’m worried if I stepped on too soon and didn’t see enough of a loss, I would get discouraged. Whereas right now, I FEEL good and that’s encouraging me to keep going.

Yes girl!

Referee Nancy M.

I weighed myself daily for years, then just a few months ago decided to do it weekly. So far, so good. There truly is no wrong or right and I don't feel my way is 'right' as it truly is personal. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you! :)
