Hi All! I’m a mom of 2 little boys in New England and I’m currently in grad school working toward becoming a NP. I’m excited to be doing another dietbet with Ilana! I’ve been doing 2B since March 2021 and I’ve dropped 30lbs. I’ve been maintaining within a 5-8lb range since last February and I’m now ready to get rid of the last 10 for good. I have a trip to Puerto Rico planned in February and I’d love to feel my best before that! I’m listening to her book again, tracking and focusing on the principles of 2B and I know I’m definitely in weight loss mode but I’m ready to get into melting mode!

In the past, I’ve found that the things that help me succeed in winning the bet are: daily posts in this group, PLANNING my meals ahead of time, pre-filling water bottles and cooking a big batch of vegetables (spag squash, frozen stir fry veggies) whenever I have a moment as it helps ensure I always have cooked veggies on hand- because December in northern New England does not make me want to eat any raw veggies…so I always need something I can easily warm up. Also, throughout the day (in the car, on a walk) I listen to Ilana’s book, podcast, IG lives, literally any of her content because she keeps me focused and excited to drop it! hope these tips are helpful to some. I too notice I win when I post daily. As of recently I noticed how planning my meals ahead of time is a game changer. I used to always skip that! & I’ve told myself to prefill my bottles and cook veggies too like that but haven’t gotten there! I’ll gradually start adding those systems to stay on track!!! Thank for the tips!
