How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Didnt make it....was 4 lbs heavier than my initial weigh in but its not a surprise due to my horrendous food choices and no exercise the past week. Trying not to get super depressed but its so hard. Gonna give myself some time to regroup and hopefully keep fighting. So exhausting sometimes though to constantly have to worry about weight and feeling really crappy about yourself when you backslide and lose the bet. Congrats to those who won!

I know it's frustrating to backslide it get stuck. It happens to us all. Just keep your head up. You're doing the right thing by being aware of where things have gone wrong. Try starting with one better food choice per day. Substitute water for one drink per day. Walk in place for 5 mins a day to get started. Make small attainable goals. When you do them consistently for awhile then add new small attainable goals. The problem with dieting is often the all or nothing attitude. It's not realistic to change everything all at once in drastic measures. Small attainable goals boost our self-esteem when we meet them for a set period of time that we set right for us. There is no one size fits all plan for weight loss and dieting.

Once we reach our personal smallAttainable goals for a set time, then we start feeling better about ourselves and then we set more goals and have more energy and more confidence that we can do it. It's a domino effect. All or nothing plans just seem to create a crash and burn and regaining of all the weight. I do not support that method at all. You have to make changes that are realistically sustainable for you over the long-term.
