How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I am happy I lost 10 lbs, but 4% of 336 is a lot. Will just try again.

Please don't get discouraged. Any weight lost is a success. Four percent is more manageable when you are doing it the first month or two. It is called a Kicks tarter so that you quickly get into better eating and exercise habits. I think the general idea is that you would then go into the 6 month diet bet game for slower sustained loss. My husband and I as well as well as some friends have kept doing the kick starters. They work well for him and he can make the weights without too much sacrifice but I find it much harder. In order to lose weight I must stay around 700 calories on a low carb diet and exercise a couple hours a day. I have found that drinking a gallon of water a day helps to curb the hunger, reduce water weight and lose weight albeit slowly. Also, if you are close to your weight at weigh in time ...do some extra exercise and work up a sweat and you will get rid of some of the water weight and make your goal. I hope this helps. Stay motivated...I wish you the best of luck with your weight loss goals!
