How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Hey Everyone, Just a quick question. I'm wondering why my profile is saying i have won $100 more than what i can actually cash out? I have never cashed out and I only have $30 tied up in another game at the moment. Thanks


I definitely advise that you contact dietbet about this.


When I signed up for future games after a win my points went to the cost of the games. I think I changed my preference in settings somehow. Maybe that happened to your account?

To those who are upset with the amount of money they won. Here's something to think about. We all started out 4 weeks ago with the intention to lose 4% of our weight. We, the winners, were successful at that. There are other people who were unsuccessful. They are the reason you won anything at all. So for you to win big, lots more people have to be unsuccessful. That's not the purpose or intent of dietbets. It is you against you. You not wanting to lose your money. You getting healthy for you. If that's not why you join these then you may need to rethink your situation.

Well people congrats on making the end date and winner or runner up you lost weight so you won. My last post and won't be checking this game activity after tonight to concentrate on my new game so may see you all there or in future bets X good luck to you all for the future X

Many thanks to dietbet. I lose more than 30 lbs and won several hundred dollars since the start of this year. I split the 4 weeks dietbet period into two halves. For the first two weeks, I focused on my exercise and training, I did a lot of trail running, biking, cross country skiing for that period with normal diet (with normal amount carbs and fats ). I normally don't lose so much weight on this period, but strengthening my muscles. For the second half, I focus on the diet with a lot of fibers, normal amount protein, and minmum fat and carbs. I only do minimum training during that period such as bike commute to work or some weight lifting in gym. Normally I can lose a lot of weight during that half and meet my goal.If not, for the final push, I would eat veggies only with a lot of sleep , I normally can lose 2 pounds in 2 days with that strategy.

One DietBet down, and many more to go! 5.5kg (12.1lb) shed & more than that to go.

What to do now? Do you join a big game with lots of people (& possibly get lost in the noise), or join a smaller one and get more support from a smaller group of people?

Why not do both?
