How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I've been losing weight rather slowly and seemingly not at all during this bet. This past weekend my dad randomly came into town from 12 hours away. I ate pizza with him, followed by a HUGE milkshake as well as made a few other poor food decisions this week. I also haven't been able to do ANY of my regular work-out routine due to an unusually large amount of work at my job. I was scared, but I stepped on the scale this morning anyway and found I dropped two pounds and am now less than two pounds from my goal! Seems like my metabolism finally woke up! Bodies are weird!

Don't let that be an excuse to allow yourself to do that again. Find a routine and stick with it. Just because you have a bad day, don't let that bad day turn into a bad week or longer. There are 24 hours in a day, not matter your workload there is time available to workout. Make daily goals and stick to them. You can do this!
