How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

We are going out of town for the weekend. Packing our food so we eat healthy. We should get a ton of exercise since we are helping with an outdoor drone racing event." by Peggy S.

Get ready for the final weigh in! Once the game ends tonight (Apr 28) at midnight PST, you have until 11:59PM PST on Apr 30 to submit your final weight. If you're a winner, you'll be asked to submit photos and will get a new weigh-in word when you visit the weigh-in screens. Submit early to make sure your photos are accepted. Remember - don't eat that cupcake until you get an email that your photos are approved! And don't forget to check your spam folder. You must have an approved weigh-in in order to be declared a winner.
Once all weigh ins are submitted, the game will finalize 24-36 hours after that. Good luck!

I'm back on track after struggling with attitude for a week. Down 54 pounds from the start of my journey months ago and almost walked away from it because I still feel fat. I'm still obese but need to stay moving in the right direction with the correct attitude.

Down 54 pounds! That's amazing! You can do this day by day!

It's a slow process but if you quit now you will be going back to the star point or worst. 54 pounds is an amazing progress, you can do this

I hiked 16 miles this past weekend with 30 pounds on my back through the beautiful mountains that surround my home. I even managed to wake up this morning and attend my weekly hour long yoga class, furthermore, I made it through the "harder" versions of the poses. Feelin' good y'all! Hope everyone has the same feels at this point in the bet!

I have a Polar watch that I only use when I'm exercising but lately I been thinking in getting a Fitbit Charge HR but I have read so many reviews saying that it has trouble with accuracy . Any advised!!!

I have both. However, I turned off the HR function of the Fitbit and still wear my polar during exercise

I have the Fitbit Charge and love it! I've never tried to verify the accuracy though so I can't say anything on that front.

I've been losing weight rather slowly and seemingly not at all during this bet. This past weekend my dad randomly came into town from 12 hours away. I ate pizza with him, followed by a HUGE milkshake as well as made a few other poor food decisions this week. I also haven't been able to do ANY of my regular work-out routine due to an unusually large amount of work at my job. I was scared, but I stepped on the scale this morning anyway and found I dropped two pounds and am now less than two pounds from my goal! Seems like my metabolism finally woke up! Bodies are weird!

Don't let that be an excuse to allow yourself to do that again. Find a routine and stick with it. Just because you have a bad day, don't let that bad day turn into a bad week or longer. There are 24 hours in a day, not matter your workload there is time available to workout. Make daily goals and stick to them. You can do this!

Yes, bodies are very weird!
