How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

How is everyone doing? Any progress so far? I've not been as good with my eating choices, but still managed to get down 1 measly pound, lol.. :)

Oh, it's not the self control, it's the fight with the five year old we refuse to make a separate dinner for - if we don't do it for him, why do I get to? - and the judgement from my mom who would see it as ungrateful for the meal she cooked.. maybe once we get into our own place.. :)

That makes perfect sense! I've been eating somewhat differently for several years now-so my kids are pretty used to it. I remember those food battles with a few of mine. Currently the only one who doesn't like to eat anything is Sam (the one with autism) and that's a whole different battle. He usually does get his own meal because he won't eat many things. And you are a saint for living with parents! That is a hard dynamic with your own kids! It won't be too much longer until you have your own place and it will be easier then!
