I saw my dietitian that is connected to the bariatric program I am doing and it was a good appointment/check in. She asked if I wanted her to weigh me yesterday, not that I wanted her to but it had been a month since i stepped on the scale for them so I agreed. I was up slightly but I am ok with that. We did talk about it. She had asked how things were going with the plan and I am happy with it. I told her it fits my life and not my life fitting it. I did tell her that I had a rough couple of days but I believed it was hormonal. I have been running hot (peri-menopause) and I just seem to be having cravings. I did admit that I gave into them but they were controlled. She wanted to know how I did it. So I just told her my cravings seemed to be chocolate and my go to is reese peanut butter cups. Of course there was the discussion about what that looked like. I get the two pack of king cups and have one. They are rich, thick and seem to stop the craving. So it is mouth feel along with a craving. easier to stop at one king reese peanut butter cup than having small ones and eating multiple. might the same number of calories but it works. I have only a couple of meals on the plan that I don't like and she told me to flip the page over and look at the supper meals from that plan. lol oh yeah there was another one on the other side. I was concerned about a business trip coming up but we talked about that as well and she had some resources for me to read and create a plan. I dont know why this trip is creating anxiety but I have two weeks to plan and prepare. I can do this!!!!

You will do the best you can and you have the tools to know how to make good choices. Don't stress yourself out, it isn't helpful or fun ;-).
