Non-scale victory of the week!

I am wearing 1-2 sizes smaller!!! I started a new family dinner program 2 weeks ago. My 2 sons & I have to each find a new recipe with certain healthy criteria each week and each person has to cook it & clean up afterwards. I’m killing a lot of birds with 1 stone here. At the end of each meal, we all anonymously give our feed back in 5 categories. I average the categories and give the meal a score. I put the recipe with a picture in a notebook. So, every once in a while, we can start recycling those recipes. This has helped me a lot in guaranteeing 3 healthy meals. We can order Uber Eats one night. We do left overs another night. We have a fend night & I usually cook something another night.

I could have worked out more!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I’m going to a friends house on Tuesday. While I’m there, my goals are to get up early and jog, do lunges, curb kicks, push ups, & etc. that I can in here neighborhood. While at home, my goals are to go to Camp transformation every day in the morning; and go to private training in the afternoon. I am preparing for foot surgery on Aug. 3rd. I want to be the best I can be by then for a quicker recovery.

I am still recovering from surgery. I think I can do better by not rushing my body back to where I was before surgery.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I kept up with my macros when me Grandpa passed away exactly 2 months after my Mammaw from my moms side passed away. I have not had my go to drinks, Coke & sweet tea. I worked out 5 days a week the a trainer. I also started using my new rowing machine 7 a week for a minimum of 20 minutes.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Because I reach, it is difficult to eat on a scheduled time.

My work was playing the “Biggest Loser.” I met my goal & won some money YAY! However, the day it ended someone brought a huge cake to the office. I didn’t eat a bite

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Eat at designated times, even though I’m not hungry, instead of waiting until I’m hungry.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Started with a new trainer. I could definitely feel the difference after his workouts - spaghetti legs. I made 2 new meals that are very simple. The first was sautéed chicken in a tbls of avocado oil, garlic and thyme, served with lightly steamed broccoli. My sons had Mac-n-cheese, but not me! The 2nd meal was baked tilapia served with green beans & baked sweet potato with honey & cinnamon.

I always can drink more water.

I went to a personal trainer 4 times this last week. I’m done with sodas & sweet tea!!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have done more cardio on my own last week. I also could have prepared my lunches the night before, so I could make everything well balanced. But, I have several things I can just crab and go.

My grandma passed away January 16th. I flew to Alabama on the 17th for 5 days. I resisted my stress foods.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have walked more. But, being in a different town, I felt uncomfortable.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I resisted chocolate at a meeting and candy offered to me from my students. I drank a lot of water- plain or with zero calorie flavor added. I checked foods for high fructose syrup, and I avoided all foods & drinks that had it. I did not have a Coke this week, which is what I turn to when stressed

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I can always do better at drinking water. I still need to better at fruits & vegetables.

I AM going to exercise more!! I will change up the foods I am eating & still portion them. Otherwise, I think eating the same thing will get old quick, & I will eat outside my meal plan.
