I’ve been having trouble staying on my diet. I’m doing Noom but it’s just so complicated. Last night I was going to quit. The one thing that convinced me not to was the tape measure. My waist is a full 5 inches larger than it was when I was at my happiest. I felt so depressed about that so went to sleep and started afresh today. Let’s do this!

@Mezzie I definitely feel their goal is too aggressive! Twelve pounds by 1st March? No. That seems unhealthy to me.

Thank you everyone! What I’m also struggling with is Noom’s advice to weigh myself daily. It’s exhausting because I’m starting every single day disappointed. I can’t sustain that.

Last Friday, I decided to shovel our walkway from the 2 foot drifts. Did something wrong and threw out my back. It's definitely the most pain I've ever been in! Went to the ER Saturday, and they gave me some muscle relaxers and pain meds (which I hate and won't take often). Luckily, I've been able to get out of bed by myself since Sunday. Sadly, no exercise for another week at least. But I'm almost at round 2 goal thanks to no appetite. And we are now owners of a fancy snowblower 😄

Back issues are the WORST! I’ve had, I think, 13 injections now to help with pain. Please be sure to be aware and watch body mechanics when working out (well, really always). Hoping you’re better soon!
